Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places fund focuses investment in parts of the country where people’s involvement in the arts is significantly below the national average. Watermans, as the lead organisation of a consortium of Hounslow groups, were awarded Creative People and Places funding in 2013. The borough drew together organisations, expertise, resources and strategies.
As such they required a logo to unify them in their ambition to bring arts and culture to a wider and currently disengaged audience. I created a playful logo mark and flexible visual language to reflect the hub of creativity at the heart of the borough.
