In 2014 the Wolfson Economic Prize judged proposals for the creation of a new garden city in England. We used clean graphics based on the project subject matter, to create a contemporary exhibition space.
The five finalists’ entries were displayed on loose boards arranged on a display shelf – a reflection of the flexible, evolving community dynamic suggested by many of the entrants.
Their full written proposals were bound, and available to read on specially commissioned central reading table. To fuse the diverse content of each participant into a rounded exhibition experience we developed a minimal icon set to reflect the key themes of environment, community and infrastructure.
